"I am the 3rd owner, having purchased the car from it's second owner with the intention of doing a complete restoration, but a new baby's arrival changed my plans. It has been my daily driver since i bought it and my only complaint has been that i haven't had the time to properly restore it.
I have, however, replaced all the bushings and gaskets, which were all original. I have also replaced the clutch and pressure plate, the master brake cylinder, the water pump and the generator. I had the radiator and brake lines professionally flushed, the drive shaft rebalanced and perhaps most importantly, I had a Crane electronic ignition installed.
Also, the previous owner had a valve job done shortly before I found and bought the car, a bonus for me and you!
So, all in all, the car is QUITE mechanically sound and I have driven it all around LA, in all kinds of traffic and also as far south as San Diego and as ar north as San Luis Obispo, all travel free of any issues.
The interior is in good shape: seats, carpet, dash, doors, head liner, dials, etc. and all elements function properly except the clock. The dials are all original Smiths and all work well. The electronic overdrive also works well.
As you can see from the pictures I am including, the body is really that left to be adressed and I am happy to report that there is no rust or body filler on the car!"
